Fire

Fire elicits a wide range of emotional responses. We can be mesmerized by it around a campfire or horrified by it as an out-of-control wildfire engulfing everything in its path. This fused glass sculpture captures the randomness of flame using bright oranges and yellows set into the coolness of white and clear. The sculpture is formed into a gentle wave that is mounted on a stark white base lined with orange. This will add a striking display to any room.
 
The sculpture base is 3 layers of fused glass, orange sandwiched by white, and will sit on any flat surface. The sculpture itself combines the glass fusing techniques of strip construction and pattern bars.
