Origami Bowl -Flame Opal
The glass manufacturer calls this red Flame Opal. It is a bright red with some variation in color to add visual interest. Here is it paired with a marigold yellow to make this fused glass origami bowl. Together they make a colorful statement sure to brighten up any décor. Use it as a bowl for fruit, candy or your favorite chips. It is sure to draw some attention.
The bowl is made from two layers of fused glass heated to 1465 degrees Fahrenheit. A second firing is completed to shape it as an origami bowl. Combined, this piece has spent around 25 hours in a kiln.

Use of votive or electric votive candles recommended. If a wax candle is used, be sure the wax is contained in the well of the candle. Hot wax pooling directly on the glass could cause it to break.
